Femi Otedola who made his intention to sell his 75% stake in Forte oil known via a letter to the Nigerian Stock Exchange, has given the reason he sold his shares. In response when being asked why he made such decision, he said; ‘to diversify into other areas of the economy such as petroleum products refining that require huge capital outlay’.
Thomas Schaefer, the finance minister of Germany’s Hesse state, has committed suicide apparently after becoming “deeply worried” over how to cope with the economic fallout from the coronavirus, state premier Volker Bouffier said Sunday.
