John Terry transfer to Aston Villa has been confirmed

Chelsea legend, John Terry, after a scintillating 21-year season with the blues and a remarkable guard of honor during the blue last match at the end of the season to mark the retirement of the skipper, all seems to have been a wasted effort as the skipper has reportedly sign a contract with Aston Villa.
Aston Villa owner, Dr. Tony Xia, confirmed the information via his tweeter handle on Monday that John Terry has joined the club on a free transfer, after his 21-year association with the Stamford Bridge club expired this summer.
The skipper made a total of 690 appearances for Chelsea, scoring total of 65 goals, with 5 premier league titles, 5 FA cups, 3 league cups, 1 champions league, and 2 Europa league.
Terry is expected to sign a one-year deal at Villa Park, with a bonus of around £4 million if they are promoted to the Premier League.
