Chelsea fc has on the 21 July, completed the transfer of Real Madrid striker, Alvaro Morata to the Bridge for a 5-year deal.
The 24-year-old striker who completed his transfer yesterday is expected to join the blues in China for their pre-season tour.
Morata had one of the best season performance at Madrid last season after finishing behind Christiano Ronaldo as the second top scorer in the club, scoring nine goals in 20 appearances and 3 Champions League goals, wining both the La Liga and Champions League.
upon completion of his signing, Alvaro said: ‘I am so happy to be here. It’s an incredible emotion to be part of this big club. I am looking to work hard, score as many goals as I can and to win as many trophies as possible.’
Morata joined Madrid from their youth team shortly after turning 18, he started playing regular for the team during the 2912/2013 campaign, providing a classic assistance for Benzima, which helped Madrid claim victory in El Clasico that season.
He was later transferred to Juventus at the 2014 summer where he was a major figure in the Seria A side for 2015/2016 season, winning the league and at the same time, helping them get to the Champions league final, before loosing to Barcelona.
Madrid later exhibited a buyback option where the striker scored a total of 20 goals in all competitions for the Bernabeu side to date befor his transfer to Stamford Bridge yesterday.
